Recipe of the Week!!!! Cheescake Popsicles

I found this recipe one day and couldn't resist trying it!! It was so easy to make and was a tremendous hit and my cookout!!

Cheesecake Popsicles

Ingredients

• (8) 5-ounce Dixie Cups
• popsicle sticks
• 8 sheets graham crackers, crushed
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• 2 (small) packages cheesecake instant pudding mix
• 4 cups milk
• sliced strawberries and blueberries

Instructions

1. Crush your graham crackers into small pieces, using a food processor, blender, rolling pin--whatever you've got!
2. Stir in melted butter to combine.
3. Combine pudding mix and milk, whisking together until smooth.
4. Add a small layer (a spoonful or so) of pudding mix to the bottom of your cups.
5. Next, add a layer of your graham cracker "crust" (again, about a spoonful).
6. On top of your graham cracker crumbs, layer in a few sliced berries. Fill cups up the rest of the way with the remaining pudding mix.
7. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until set.

Groove Kid Nation continues its award-winning music education series with a third release Rhythm Bears. Producer Rodney Lee once again recruits top L.A. musicians and heads deep into the woods to create a soulful folk hoedown. 

As the title suggests, Rhythm Bears is all about drawing kids into the music with rhythmic call and response games that will have them clapping, stomping, playing percussion, and vocalizing to the beat. 

In addition, a band of groovy bears open childrens’ ears to a whole new set of musical instruments including harmonica, fiddle, acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, clarinet, kalimba, ukulele, and even didgeridoo. Each song features a new instrument, and the enclosed 10-page booklet features colorful illustrations of each Rhythm Bear.

My Review

This is an incredible CD!! The assortment of music is fun and full of energy that the kids LOVE!!! There are familiar songs as well as those we have never heard before!! Presley danced through the ENTIRE CD!!! He frequently asks to hear it over and over. Every time we go out in the car, the CD is brought with us!!! LOL!!! Presley s favorite song is "Teddy Bears Picnic"

I highly recommend this CD for your toddler!! I will certainly be purchasing other items form Groove Kid Nation!!

I had the pleasure of being able to review the Ozeri Green Earth Textured Ceramic Non Stick Frying pan.

First...the Company Product Description

Utilizing GREBLON -- a natural ceramic coating from Germany, the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri is one of the world's first frying pans to achieve non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals. Conventional non-stick cookware is achieved through a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes which are documented to be lethal to birds and small pets, and which can be harmful to humans. In addition, traditional pans incorporating PTFE are manufactured with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a 'persistent pollutant of the environment'. We are all looking for that perfect frying pan. So many claim to be non stick but cant follow through. Then there is the concern of toxic fumes due to the materials the pan is made with.I personally have reptiles that I have to be super careful about fumes in my household. 

 We do not have to worry anymore. I absolutely LOVE this pan.  I prepared eggs, bacon, and chicken in this wonderful pan. When I finished cooking, the food literally washed right out!! NO FOOD STUCK AT ALL!!!! The heat seemed to cook the food evenly and the pan is very well constructed!! I have claimed this pan to be my favorite and will always use as first choice. If for any reason you ever have any problems with your pan..it is backed by a warranty!!!

I will  be purchasing the different sizes of this pan soon and may even buy some as gifts for family members!!!
